Dan Weber, AIA, LEED AP, founded Anacapa (originally Dan Weber Architecture) in 2008 in Santa Barbara. Weber’s passion for sustainability, solving community problems, and creating engaging environments motivates him on a daily basis. He is widely respected for his expertise and skill in planning strategy, project management, and urban planning in high-density areas. His in-depth understanding of the CEQA development review process, as it relates to innovation, sustainability, and the built environment, informs the work of Anacapa, which is aligned with a holistic community identity and strong commitment to creating spaces and places for public good. Prior to founding Anacapa, Weber was a Partner and Principal Design Architect at The Conceptual Motion Company and worked for many years with Santa Barbara-based designers Ryan Mills and Edward DeVicente, AIA. Weber holds a B.Arch. from Cal Poly SLO.
