Pierluigi Serraino, AIA, is a practicing architect, author, and educator. His work and writings have been published in professional and scholarly journals, such as Architectural Record, The Architectural Review, A+U, Artforum, and Perspecta. He has authored several books, among them Modernism Rediscovered (Taschen, 2000), The Creative Architect (Monacelli Press, 2016), and Ezra Stoller: A Photographic History of Modern American Architecture (Phaidon, 2019). His architecture practice focuses on residential, commercial, and adaptive re-use. Serraino studied at University of Rome “La Sapienza”, and received his M.Arch from SCI-Arc and MA in Architecture from UCLA.
